1) COMMUNITY SERVICE- We do lot of community service. It's not just about monetary help or just visiting old age homes or orphanages. We do need based projects. We first understand the need of a particular section and then serve them accordingly. For eg: There was nothing for recreation at Savation Army Old Age Home. Hence we got them a DTH connection to watch their favourite shows or movies, installed a library for them to read good books and gave them a carrom board to play.
2) PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT- If you're interested in sports, we'll have a session on sports or organize something for you to learn, if you like to dance, we'll organize a salsa and jive workshop, if you want to enhance your knowledge of finance and law, we'll call someone to deliver a lecture. So we do everything that can combine fun with learning.
3) CLUB SERVICE- After all the hard work in community service and learning in professional development , we have awesome parties and celebrations since at the end of the day we feel we deserve it!!! Doesn't mean we go out clubbing!!! We just eat, dance, play, relax and have fun.
4) INTERNATIONAL SERVICE- We get in touch with clubs outside Mumbai as well as India. We interact with them online and if we get a chance and a sponsor we send our members to visit the clubs otuside Mumbai or India.
5) PARTNERS IN SERVICE- We have our parent rotary called Rotary Club of Mumbai Shivaji Park and InnerWheel ( for women only) of Bombay Shivaji Park. They work like us but they're people in the age group of 30 onwards. They give us moral support and also fund as sometimes.
6) PUBLIC RELATIONS- We create a buzz about our club to get more members, to make people aware of the work we do, we tie-up with various outlets to get free coupons too!!!!!
7) EDITORIAL- We have interesting in house news paper and magazines where you can get famous and also write some meaningful articles.
8) WEB COMMUNICATIONS- It includes everything from our website, blog, face book group etc. basically all online activities.
